Vowel Nicknames

The bottom two rows show some nicknames used for consonants. The long mark alone is spelled "long", while the same vertical line as a top or bottom is called a "mast". Likewise, "truss" and "yawn" are called "shelf" and "bend" when used as half of a consonant.
